Al Ain Community Running Challenge Kicks Off

The Al Ain Community Running Challenge will launch on Sunday from Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle among residents of Al Ain. Participants can choose distances to suit their abilities, ensuring everyone's involvement.


Al Ain Community Running Challenge Kicks Off

The "Social Challenge for Running in Eyn" will start on Sunday at the Kazaa stadium in the Eyn region. The event is co-supported by Sheikh Kazaa bin Zaid Al Nahayan, representative of the government in the Eyn region. This challenge is described in social initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of active sports and physical activity, as well as strengthening a healthy lifestyle among community members.

The events are conducted by the Sheikh Makhmmeda Cultural Center bin Khalida Al Nahayan in collaboration with Abu-Dhabi Sports Council within the framework of joint efforts aimed at stimulating community members towards regular physical activity and ensuring an open and safe sporting environment accessible to all.

"Social challenge for running in Eyn" is one of the most significant events, covering various age categories and social groups. Participants can choose the distance that suits their capabilities, reflecting the organizers' desire to involve the maximum number of people in the sporting activities in a motivating and positive atmosphere.

The start of the competition for 10 km begins at 7:00 AM, then followed by a 5 km run at 7:05, 2.5 km at 7:10, and finally, 1 km at 7:30 AM. Registration for participation in the event will remain open until the maximum number of participants, expected to be more than 1000 people, is reached, with an anticipated presence of different social categories, including local residents, as well as foreigners, and family participation, sports lovers, and people with limited opportunities.
